![]() ![]() Its framed in my home office and I will NEVER let it touch my body due to fear that I will ruin Ceedee's career. Amari was traded 2 months later.Īs of today the only jersey I own is a signed Ceedee Lamb jersey i received as a gift from a colleague at work. In the neck of the jersey is a white label reading 01-48 denoting the year and size. So yeah, Jaylon Smith.ĥ: Bought my wife an Amari Cooper jersey. He was a starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys in 2001. 3 weeks later, Dez was released.Ĥ: After all of these misses I decided I would wait until a young player proved himself, made a pro bowl, and signed a long contract to ensure that my purchase of their jersey would not impact them. Sean got hurt and played in 7 games.ģ: I bought one of my best friends a Dez Bryant jersey for his birthday. ![]() Enough said.Ģ: I bought my dad a Sean Lee jersey as a gift prior to the 2018 season. My history goes as such:ġ: the week after he was drafted, I bought a Morris Claiborne Jersey. I fully believe my purchase of a jersey (even for others as a gift) dooms a player as far as their cowboys career goes. I have sworn off buying jerseys entirely. He literally has Dallas by the scrote and just consecutively end Dallas' past two season by not showing up and shitting the bed in the playoffs.Īgain, you can like him all you want, but the fact is his contract is absolutely doing the team no favors and neither is his play when it matters most. He has no reason to agree to a pay cut or a new deal that's actually team friendly and Dallas can't restructure unless they want more on the 2024 season and/or void (dead cap) seasons. Zeke got his money, but he worked with the team on length which has allowed them to appropriately/effectively manage the cap hits.īecause of the structure of Daks deal he essentially had two years up front to get something done and didn't, now the back load is hitting the cap and Dak because of the structure of the deal and the market status right now has all the leverage. You can say good for him all you like but it's absolutely hurting the team. Dak gave Dallas no flexibility and squeezed out every damn penny he could. They back loaded the deal up front, after adding void years which will count as dead cap in those years, which only served to slough off more up front, which was necessary because of the massive contract over a short period Dak demanded and wouldn't budge from and then they later further restructured the deal, again out of necessity, moving even more onto these last two seasons and/or void years. Lol, no, they didn't get a discount on Dak and it's absolutely Dak's contract fucking them right now.
